Constant immersive experience; surrounded by fine wines, exceptional food and the friendliest and most helpful members of staff. The hotel’s sommelier was on hand to advise wine and food pairings and he lead an hour’s group wine tasting which sampled four wines (and one olive oil) produced by the surrounding vineyards. The landscape and surrounding views are second to none during the day and all through the night, overlooking infinite rows of grape vines, rolling hills of Western Sicily into the sea towards the islands and lights twinkling in the town below. Our room (overlooking vineyards at the back of the grounds) was spacious with a little balcony, it had the most comfortable bed and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job of maintaining the room throughout the day and in the evening. A really peaceful stay. A little gem of pure happiness. We would love to stay again! (also, worth noting: it made a beautiful wedding venue!)

The facilities of the hotel are great, the decorations beautiful, as well as the flowers, plants, gardens and views. The room was lovely and I think it couldn’t possibly be any cleaner! The outsides of the hotel are also being very well maintained. Breakfast is served in the courtyard and is great, as there were lots of options to choose from; sweet as well as savory options. Lunch is served at the terrace with a spectacular seaview. Dinner is served at the courtyard, with fish and meat options. We also had a wine tasting tour which was a nice opportunity to learn about the history of the baglio and to chat with other guests from different countries. The poolside has a spectacular view as well and barservice is available all day long. But above all, everything has been lifted to the next level thanks to the amazing staff. Everyone is good-spirited, warm, polite and always ready to exceed your expectations.

Laura

The hotel is situated at the top of a hill with a good view of the surrounding area to the coast and the islands beyond. The pool is a good size, has plenty of sun beds and is permanently manned with a life guard during opening hours. The decor of the hotel may be described as a little outdated by some but we just saw it as traditional Italian and liked it for that. The food was excellent with a wide range of breakfast choices, tasty salads and smaller meals at lunchtime and really tasty options for dinner. The wine experience was both informative and tasty, showing off the wines made in the hotel's winery. Above all the staff were excellent; every person we encountered had a smile and "buon giorno" and they all seemed most delighted to see us. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Beautiful and impeccably managed hotel near Marsala Hotel. The rooms were nice and with twice a day room making, were maintained in great order throughout the day. The swimming pool was big and maintained very well with free pool towels. The bar team was always ready to help with drinks and coffee. The breakfast spread was amazing with high quality ingredients and great service again. The entire staff was always ready to help. A special mention from Laura who was really warm and helpful. They even arranged a special fruit cake for my daughters 11th birthday. Will definitely stay here when we omw back to Sicily.

Sayantan

The hotel, grounds and setting were beautiful and the staff really friendly. The views of Erice and the Egadi Islands were amazing but sadly we didn’t get to see much or use the pool as it rained the whole time during our stay! Would definitely recommend doing the wine tasting they offer in the evening as you get to learn more about the history of the Baglio itself, the family and wine making traditions not to mention sampling their own wines and local dishes too.
